Defending the High Ground: Integrating Mission-Critical Cybersecurity into the Future of HSAT

March 12, 2026

Tall City Cyber® is pleased to announce its new status as an Associate Member of the Global Spaceport Alliance (GSA) as part of a strategic expansion of the company’s mission-critical protection into the High-Speed Aerospace Transportation (HSAT) ecosystem.

The announcement follows the company’s success in the 2025-2026 Midland Entrepreneurial Challenge (MEC), hosted by The University of Texas Permian Basin with support from America’s SBDC at UT Permian Basin. After a grueling six-month process involving over 200 businesses, Tall City Cyber® was selected as one of five winners, receiving an award from the Midland Development Corporation (MDC). This funding is being directly deployed to establish a local Security Operations Center (SOC) in Midland, TX. The SOC will serve as a cornerstone for both national clients and local critical infrastructure, measurably reducing operational risk while growing a specialized cybersecurity workforce in the Permian Basin.

“Joining the GSA is about more than just membership; it’s about providing the digital ‘ground control’ necessary for safe aerospace expansion,” said Gina Lewis, Managing Director of Tall City Cyber®. “The support from the Midland Development Corporation allows us to build the infrastructure required to protect these sophisticated systems. We are honored to bring our perspective on AI and cybersecurity—recently shared at the 2026 GSA Spaceport Summit—to the broader alliance.”

As a certified Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) and Women Business Enterprise (WBE), Tall City Cyber® delivers mission-critical cybersecurity services that measurably reduce operational risk and ensure compliance for critical infrastructure and enterprises. By anchoring these services in Midland, the company is helping to position the region as one of the most secure and competitive hubs for global business. Proudly headquartered in Midland, TX, they serve clients throughout the Permian Basin and nationally.
